Happy Pie Day Workshop: How to Win Friends, Fans & Awards with Pie! March 13 | 6:00 PM Price: $55++ Celebrate Pie Day with a hands-on pie-making workshop designed for bakers of all skill levels. Learn how to create the flakiest pie crust on the planet and take-home Sian Seligman’s award-winning pie crust recipe, along with expert tips on technique, texture, and decorative finishing. Participants will roll out their own dough, assemble a full pie, and leave with an unbaked pie ready to bake at home, plus step-by-step baking instructions. All ingredients will be provided by the Club, with fillings prepared in-house by our culinary team to ensure quality and food safety. Ingredients will be pre-measured for a smooth, enjoyable experience. This interactive class covers: • The science behind a perfectly flaky crust • How to avoid a soggy bottom • Decorative crust techniques • Converting sweet crusts for savory pies All tools and supplies will be provided, and you can take your pie-making kit home! Reservations are required for all Member events that occur at City Club LA. City Club requires 48 business hours in advance of the event for your cancellation.
